Visit us

Due to the Covid 19 pandemic we are currently closed to the public.

We look forward to welcoming you when we are able to open our doors again to you. In the meantime, please visit our social media sites to hear updates.

Tours of the Museum and Works can be organised to accommodate a group of 10 or more people* (maximum 35 people) subject to prior arrangement on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday throughout the year, but this does not necessarily include a casting. The current price for a tour is £10.00 per head or £100.00 minimum charge – whichever is greater – commencing at either 10.00am or 1.30pm – regrettably we are unable to offer evening or weekend tours. The tour lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

School visits

Educating the next generation about the importance of the Loughborough Bellfoundry is essential if we are to protect the site for years to come.

As part of our mission to revive and restore the bellfoundry, we are looking to work with local schools to develop a new education programme at the Bellfoundry Museum. This might involve bringing your class to visit us, or our Education Officer coming out to you.

Tours can also be tailored to fulfill the needs of the curriculum and have a more artistic or scientific focus.

We have also created a whole host of free resources for you to use in the classroom or on your visit!
